What do you say when one of the most illustrious automotive companies in the world calls to work together?

“Hey, Mercedes.”

We’re thrilled to announce that Sonantic has partnered with Mercedes-Benz AG to make its “Hey Mercedes” voice assistant emotionally expressive in its VISION EQXX model, the most efficient electric vehicle the company has ever built. The car was presented earlier this week in a digital world premiere.

We worked with Mercedes-Benz AG engineers to give the VISION EQXX’s road trip sidekick a distinctive character and personality that can convey human emotions, making the conversation between driver and car more natural and intuitive than ever before. Just imagine getting directions from a comforting companion, instead of a computer. That’s pretty cool, if you ask us.

When we think about Mercedes-Benz AG, a few words come to mind: luxury, quality and craftsmanship. Underpinned by a rich history, the company is at the forefront of technological innovation. The VISION EQXX marks an incredible achievement where sleek design meets sustainability. Together with Mercedes-Benz AG, we are united in the belief that emotionally expressive voice tech will elevate the driver experience to a whole new level.

As we reflect on this major milestone for Sonantic, we can’t help but think about our vision for the future. When we launched the company back in 2018, we knew that the entertainment and gaming industries were ready to embrace this advancement in technology. But we hadn’t imagined how we might work with other industries just yet.

Sonantic’s north star has always been to create the most compelling, realistic and emotional artificial voices in the world…and this project has left us pondering the many possibilities that await.

When it comes to automotives, we’re taking our tech for a test drive and we can’t wait to see where the road leads us.
