We have some very exciting news to share. Sonantic is poised to take the next, bold steps in our journey as part of Spotify, the world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service.

From the moment we founded Sonantic, our goal was to create cutting-edge AI to deliver compelling, highly expressive voice performances that would transform products and entertainment forever.

On our own, we’ve created a powerful platform that has transcended other AI voice technologies, allowing creators to generate stunningly realistic voices that can flirt, cry, and shout. With our platform, we’ve given entertainment professionals and businesses new ways to bring characters to life and enabled them to tap into custom voices. This can be seen through our work with Val Kilmer to reclaim his voice and our partnership with Mercedes-Benz AG to enhance the expression of their Hey Mercedes voice assistant.

This new chapter will open a world of possibilities for the groundbreaking technology we’ve created. Something both our teams are looking forward to together. “We’re really excited about the potential to bring Sonantic’s AI Voice technology onto the Spotify platform and create new experiences for our users,” says Ziad Sultan, Spotify’s Vice President of Personalization. “This integration will enable us to engage users in a new and even more personalized way.”

As we celebrate this watershed moment, we want to thank everyone who has made our journey up until today possible.

Thank you to our advisors Lyle Fong, Glenn Entis, Barak Berkowitz, and Spencer Hyman for the invaluable guidance throughout the last few years.

A humble thank you to all of our investors for believing in us early on: Entrepreneur First, January Ventures, EQT Ventures, AME Cloud Ventures, Bart Swanson & Chris Liu of Horizons, Krafton Ventures, XRM Media, Primed Technologies, NetEase, Jeremy Yap, Kevin Lin, Matthew Smith, Charles Jolley, Sathya Smith, Ed Lando, and Dave Flynn.

Thank you to our friends and family who have stood by us during the ups and downs that come with building a startup.

Lastly, we would like to thank our amazing Sonantic team, past and present. Together we have reached incredible milestones that wouldn’t have been achievable without each and every one of you. This is just the beginning for what’s next.
